Bio

Kamnelechukwu Susan Obasi is a multidisciplinary artist and community organizer whose work delves into the complex, tender threads of human interconnectedness. Using emotions as both an anchor and a tool for healing, Kamnelechukwu crafts stories that explore the universality of feeling whether through words, visuals, or sound. Her art seeks to heal, inviting people to sit with their emotions and rediscover the ties that bind us.

Beyond her creative practice, Kamnelechukwu is a curator of spaces; physical, digital, and emotional—designed to foster connection and joy. She is the founder of The Joydragger’s House, a third space in Lagos dedicated to rest, play, dreaming, and collective care. She is also a resident at Oroko Radio, where she hosts Get In, We Are Going to Drag Joy, a monthly show that journeys through soundscapes of resilience, joy, and emotional honesty.

When she’s not feeling her way through the world or amplifying collective stories, you can find her dancing by herself in her living room.
